Delta & The Corrs
To celebrate the merger of two of the biggest names in high-street banking, Delta was called in to the UK's National Exhibition Centre's largest hall, to stage one of the most ambitious corporate shows the venue had ever seen. The one-day event treated more-than 5,000 Lloyds/TSB staff to an event hosted by Carol Vorderman, and a live performance by top Irish band, the Corrs.
Definitely not a project for the faint-hearted, but London-based production company, Caribiner (now Jack Morton Worldwide Ltd), knew that Delta could provide the right team for the job. Rising to the challenge, Delta Project Manager Jim Lambert, Music Supervisor Paul Keating, and RF Expert Mark Underwood, provided a d Audiotechnik system to cater for the requirements of a huge auditorium stage, Yamaha and Midas mixers and BSS Varicurve and TCS804 delays to meet the Corrs specialist requirements, and 22 channels of specially licensed radio microphones.
The system surpassed all expectations and the show ran without a hitch - a true tribute to the talents of Delta's team.
